ON MOTHER'S BIRTH DAY - OUR PATH....

Today, the 21st,Feb 2010, happens to be the Mother's Birth Day, being celebrated at Sri. Arabindo Ashram, Pondicherry. And here is one of the Teachings:

To walk on the path , you must have a dauntless intrepidity, you must never turn back upon yourself with this mean,petty,weak,ugly movement that fear is.

An indomitable courage, a perfect sincerity,a total self-giving to the extent that you do not calculate or bargain, you do not give with the idea of receiving, you do not offer yourself with the intention of being protected, you do not have a faith that needs proofs, - that is indispensable for advancing on the Path, - this alone can shelter you against all dangers.....

FEAR - MAN'S GREATEST ENEMY

It is said that fear is the greatest enemy of Man.

Fear is behind failure,sickness and poor human relations.Millions of people are afraid of the past,the future, old age,insanity and death.Fear is a thought in your mind and you are afraid of your own thoughts.

A little boy can be paralyzed with fear when he is told there is a boogie man under his bed who is going to take him away.When his father turns on the light and shows him there is no boogie man, he is freed from fear.The fear in his mind was as real as if there really was a boogie man there.He was healed of a false thought in his mind.The thing he feared did not exist. Likewise,most of your fears have no reality.They are merely a conglomeration of sinister shadows and shadows have no reality.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, philosopher and poet, said,"Do the thing you are afraid to do, and the death of fear is certain."

When you affirm positively that you are going to master your fears, and you come to a definite decision in your conscious mind, you release the power of the subconscious, which flows in response to the nature of your thought.

Things which Provide us IMMUNITY from Viruses

Things which we can do to keep viruses away...

 

1-Tulsi leaves--and water in which these leaves are soaked for a while

2-Camphor--a tablet taken in once a month will do

3-Raw garlic-just 2 or 3 pearls taken before or during the food

4-Cows milk with a dash of turmeric powder taken at night before going to bed

5-Citrus fruits--for its vitamin c contents

6-honey with turmeric powderln warm water--good for sore throats and controls cough too

7-water boiled with Jeera and or Omam--Oma water--eases stomach dis orders too

8-Lemon and ginger drink-- enables digestion too

9-If above is not possible at least vit b or B12  and b complex tablets and Vit c tablets

10--Above all and Most importantly Washingour hands carefully cleanwith dettol to ensure bacterias do not get in easily

This is a prerequisite and a MUST

As viruses only cause innumerable damage to our system especially when we are low on immunity and  when we follow the above tips give us a good health which is so very important.

HUMAN INTELLECT

Human Intellect
Humans need an intellect to resolve the dilemma of choice and act.
Intelligence is acquired from schools and universities while the Intellect is developed by Oneself.
Thinking is an Art,a Skill, a Technique. We must learn and practice it as we would the violin,golf or bridge.
The Mind plays havoc.We need to use our Intellect to Overpower it.

Who is afraid of truth?

Why are people afraid of the truth ?

Because the truth may expose ones insecurities, fears, faults or weaknesses.
The truth may expose one's complexes and limitations.. 

The truth will tear the 'mask' and bring out the real person !!!!
Because they can't handle the truth!
Because of the "ego". Essentially if a belief about something becomes a conviction it becomes part of the person's ego. If then your "truth" has an impact on the ego of that person the person will fight tooth and nail to keep their ego intact. Perhaps if you have good arguments you may be able to get the person to question their conviction and revise it to accommodate your "truth".

If the Truth impacts the circle of influence and the circle of responsibility people may be afraid, as it may highlight absence of required behaviour. When accountability comes into view people realize they are the creators of the results they get, and there is nobody else to blame!

Only coward people are afraid of the truth..who do not have courage to face the realities..that mostly involve difficult journey to travel... 
If we decide to speak truth..to get ready to face the truth ...we also have to admit our mistakes..sacrifice our ego..follow entirely new path with which we were never familiar earlier..that results in fear of unknown.. 

But it cannot be denied that real and stable success is not possible if one is afraid of truth!
